I can't let today's action on the stock go without offering a comment. We all have seen that this stock has had a pretty significant percentage increase in its share value over the past week. Then why would the share price change direction so rapidly today? Well, no doubt some of the people who bought last week could be taking their profits out now. However, I tend to think that profit taking is just a small part of the explanation. At one time this morning there were over 60,000 shares for sale between $4.05 and $4.25. That is a lot of shares that came up for sale - all in a very short time frame. What was interesting was that there were also large blocks of shares following the price down as the support eroded throughout the day. I also noticed that many of the large sellers did not seem to be eagerly trying to get rid of their shares. For the most part, it seemed to me that they were just putting them up so as to scare others into selling below these blocks. In the absence of any news tomorrow, I would not doubt that this pressure could continue to sent the price of the shares to the $3.30 $3.35 range for a time. I am betting that this situation is just going to be temporary. I also am totally convinced that if news is imminent, then this will be the last time we will see these low prices ever again. Given what the management of Net Shepherd have already accomplished from their Roadmap Document, then once again, it is my opinion that this stock is grossly undervalued. I believe some of the houses are now attempting to pick up cheap shares before any news gets released. I think that the market is sensing that we could be close to some real revenue or merger news. So they are attempting to get positioned - at their price. The last time I saw this form of shakeout on another stock, the share price took off when the selling pressure was removed. After following this company closely for a long time, I can fully understand why someone would want to have as many shares of this company as possible. I just hope that many of the people who have held on to the stock through their re-structuring efforts don't sell out before the company announces the BIG news. This is the news that they have said that they have been working on for the past number of months. Now, I could be dead wrong here, or I am seeing demons that don't exist . . . but I really don't think so. That said, please don't let me, or anyone else for that matter, sway you when deciding to buy or sell stocks. Unfortunately I have been wrong before, and I'm sure I will be wrong again. Crazy Canuk P.S. I am making slow progress with the summary I am working on. I now hope to have it out before the end of the week. Sorry for the delay.
