If you had a last name like Flowers, you could have a first name like Fresh or Pretty or Woodland, which wouldn't be very unique or usable with say Koontz or Williams or such.

Your Jennifer Flowers experience reminds me of a joke in The Big Lebowski, but I can't remember it.
