thanks for response.

i copied the following from baseline:

Gemstar International Group Limited develops, sells and licenses proprietary technologies and systems. The company's products simplify consumer interactions with electronics products and other platforms that deliver video, programming information and other data. Gemstar's VCR Plus+, the de facto industry standard for programming VCRs, enables consumers to record a TV program by simply entering a PlusCode Number of one to eight digits into a VCR or TV equipped with the VCR Plus+ technology. PlusCode Numbers are printed next to TV program listings in over 1,800 publications in approximately 40 countries worldwide. Licensees of Gemstar's VCR Plus+ technology include Sony Corporation and Thomson Consumer Electronics, Inc. In Oct. 1999, Gemstar agreed to acquire TV Guide.

the price earnings ratio is 118 and future growth is said to be 35%. isn't that a high p/e for programming VCRs? what am i missing?
