So on this one...listen to Paul. 85% chance sounds alright will me but I'd say more like 65% chance.

No.

They can make a few pennies for a quarter or two - when they have a slight advantage.

But right now, EVERY THING is going their way - the economy is strong, CPU/PC sales are VERY STRONG, and FLASH SALES are soaring.

In mid-1995, when these conditions also existed, everybody was prediciting the good times would last for 3, 5 or 10 years - however, the good times COLLAPSED within 6 months, during the 1995 Christmas season.

When the current situation subsides, next Spring in my estimation, AMD will be back in the price-slashing mode, heading for more losses.
