diana g,
Upstate New York, just through there for the first time this fall, what a beautiful area! There was snow on the Adirondack mountaintops already in early October.

My present residence in PA does not take that much to heat, about 600 gallons a year but that includes hot water also. I might have to dust off my old Mother Earth archives, haven't looked at them in years, another sign of the thermostatic wealth effect, VBG.

Next time I have to shovel three feet of snow off the roof, like I did in 96, I'll let you know any heating difference!

One thing I do know. Next place is going to have one heck of a strong roof!

Best Regards,

Roebear
