To be fair, Dan3 has been very civil in his responses, which is much more than I can say about some other people who respond to me with acid. Sure, most of his info is way off the mark, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't respond. Besides, I also know that my responses to Dan aren't solely to try and convince Dan, but to try and convince the many other people (including the lurkers) who read Dan's posts. As for Don, I don't consider him to be part of the anti-Rambus coalition. Well, not really. Give him a while, and perhaps even he'll become a rabid Rambus supporter. (heh heh) I'd think we'd get a lot more out of this public forum if we kept the personal attacks to a bare minimum (if any). Yeah, I know, I sometimes get the urge to rip my hair out whenever I see some inane post, especially one which casts Intel in an unfair light. But I guess in the end, it doesn't help if we just cut the lines of discussion altogether and closed our minds to anything which might be hard for us to hear. Tenchusatsu P.S. - The SI servers have really be acting up as of late. It reminds me of all the times I wrestle with Microsoft's "innovations."
