nihil, The Alamo?? You call that a mass shooting as if it were some nut on a rampage. It was, over, 2,000 Mexican trained soldiers massacreing(sp) 187 volunteers. Since they were troops from Los Estados Unidos de Mexico, can you call it an Amercian incident? TD

Yep, a couple others too. Some other battles in the Spanish American War, several Indian massacres, of colonists, and Indians. And I remember a guy who drove his truck into a coffee shop and shot 15 or so people point blank in the head.

This was just months after Texas enacted its carry concealed ban. One woman reached into her purse to grab her pistol and drop the guy, but because she was a law abiding citizen, the gun was out in her trunk. She managed to escape through a small window in the kitchen, but both of her parents were executed.

If I remember, she was the main proponant who reversed Texas'es carry concealed law, and allowed its citizens to go armed again.
