I believe beyond any doubt at all that the true Gospel taught by Paul was one that taught ELECTION... The saints of God are called believers twice which they would be even if elected or not. Believers = 2 times eklektos Elect Translated Elect 16 times Chosen 7 times. Strong's definition: ) picked out, chosen 1a) chosen by God, 1a1) to obtain salvation through Christ 1a1a) Christians are called "chosen or elect" of God 1a2) the Messiah in called "elect", as appointed by God to the most exalted office conceivable 1a3) choice, select, i.e. the best of its kind or class, excellence preeminent: applied to certain individual Christians kletos Called 9 times The called 2 times. I don't know how you want to Judge what kind of spirit I am bringing here... If Jesus loved everyone then why does He make a point of NOT PRAYING for them and recording it in His word ? As far as singing songs that are made by men to God I sing the Songs that God gave me in the Bible... The ones GOD wrote for HIS people to sing to Him the PSALMS... What is wrong with the songs God wrote ? Is it because you can't find a line in it about Jesus loving everyone the same ?? If you can't see predestination then you have not been reading the Bible ... I know a lot of Christians who are busy saving the world who have not 5 minutes to read God's word ! How can people say that the Bible does not teach PREDESTINATION when the very word is there ?? Ro 8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. Jesus said: "Many are called but few are chosen" Jesus never said All are called but few choose.... Salvation is not of the flesh. Nor of the will of man.. That is will worship ! Jesus did say "I lay down my life for the sheep" Jesus did not say I lay down my life for the sheep and the goats.
