E-Biz With Oracle: Oracle OpenWorld '99 is playing in Los Angeles from Nov. 14 to 18. Dubbed as a chance to "Meet the Stars of E-Business," the conference will feature Oracle's best-known partners and customers. Keynote speeches from Larry Ellison of Oracle, Carly Fiorina of Hewlett-Packard, Craig Barrett of Intel, Ben Rosen of Compaq and Scott McNealy of Sun Microsystems will keep things lively.

Hmmm no real pop from the e-commerce server announcement. Well, I feel confident gains are forthcoming... hey does anybody know the arrangement Oracle has with I2 these days? Because I2 is a real contender in e-biz. It used to be the Orcl reps could sell I2 and get commission - is that still true? I like the orcl partnerships with agil and i2... they seem to have lost that awful NIH syndrome...
