that's why I dropped out. It would have been a waste to stay in high school another year. My physics teacher was one of the few reasons I stayed through my junior year. He took the kids that already knew the material and gave them interesting projects. A storeroom in the science department became a laboratory for three or four of us. Now, when I come across interesting bits of hardware being surplussed, I pack them up and ship them to my high school physics teacher. I dream that I am saving some poor gifted schmuck from a day in the classroom.
