jp,
You have been a very bad girl.
You MISSED your appointment????
I have a friend who was diagnosed Summer 98 with non-Hodgkins. She had the large lump (under her arm) removed, and underwent chemo for several months. She is in complete remission and is doing fine. I think a lot does depend on the Level, etc. She lost all her hair and it came back really curly. I remember she took LOTS of vitamins ate very, very healthily- vegetarian. Took a holistic approach along with the regular treatment.
I hope Mitchell will do as well. The chemo is not fun, for sure, but I truly believe attitude plays a huge part in our recoveries. ANd to be surrounded by people who love you and support you and make you smile or cry with you is so vital. It sounds as if Mitchell has all of this.

At least you can assume that there was nothing of an emergency nature about your hand--?
