You can't call him a nut. He had alternative socio-economic views that we cannot understand with our oppressive Euro-American society. Only a racist would disparige minority leaders, and that doesn't sound like you nihil.

nihil, I hate to be a nit picker but, it wasn't Texas yet. It was El Estado Tejas de Mexico. Yes Santa Ana was a nut but not the kind like the tea-sipper in the tower.(That's what Aggies call students of TU). Generalisimo de Santa Ana had over 2,000 trained troops with him who did all the shooting. All that egotistical bastard did was sit on his horse and watch. Also, when talking about Texas, don't forget the murders of those at Goliad, and those eliminated in a prison in Mexico City without the benefit of combat. TD
