Thanks Dog. I am assuming that Brazil is not operating under the same production constraints as, say, OPEC member Venezuela. I am further assuming that a nation such as Brazil would wish to speed discovery and appraisal along as fast as possible so that revenues from PRODUCTION, could commence (especially given the POOS). I am therefore concluding that the Brazilian govt. and Petrobras will do everything in their power to expedite the process. If my conclusion is correct, then infrastructure will follow up the rigs fairly quickly?

Just random B2K musings on a plus $25 oil day. Have'nt gotten a chance to read my ODB yet - gotta run.

Oh, BTW, I been discussing the offshore construction industry with an individual who is "in a position to know". He has told me that biz has picked up sharply IN THE LAST TWO WEEKS.
