So would it be off the wall to suggest that people do possess some psychic abilities, but do not know enough about said abilities to use them to their own benefit?

I caught a portion of something very interesting the other night on tv. It was one of those shows about situations and events which happen and can't be explained. This particular segment was about ghosts.

Apparently, somewhere in Texas (I think they may have mentioned near Austin, but I really can't remember) there is a railroad crossing in which it is thought that the ghosts of several children will push a vehicle accross the tracks. The story goes that the children were killed when a school bus they were riding in was struck by a train while the bus was stalled on the tracks.

They had this former captain (or maybe it was a leutenent) of the state police demonstrate what happens in the segment. He took a bottle of baby powder and poured it all over the back of his vehicle (a Ford Bronco I think). He also noted that the grade leading up to the tracks, rose. I can't quite remember just how they showed it, but he said he had his truck in neutral prior to coming to the tracks. After he crossed and came to a stop, they looked at the back of the Bronco, and one could clearly see 4 or 5 small fingerprints.

It was very interesting to see (unless it was faked of course).
