Who was that RB who ran through the Detroit secondary like a heat seaking missile?

Pittman, who carried 23 times, scored on a 58-yard run,
Arizona's longest in over three years, and had a 46-yard
reception to set up another another TD. The second-year back
from Fresno State made his first start in place of the
ineffective Adrian Murrell.

"I was excited all week long. When I found out I was going to be
the starter, I tried to jump through the roof," said Pittman,
the first Cardinal to break 100 yards this season. "I was so
excited. I just tried to keep my composure."

That was Michael Pittman, second year player from Fresno State, who had the huge game. He is a big, strong guy with HUGE bi-ceps (one nickname for him here is Four Legs, I assume 'cause his biceps are the size of normal thighs). People have been riding hard to get him to start and he LOVED it. My season tickets are 2nd row 35 yard line so I can see and hear the players reactions pretty well, and when he came back and the crowd around me got on it's feet, his smile was as big as his biceps.

What suprised me, though, was that ANYONE could look good behind that offensive line. I really didn't think it'd make much difference, but I guess maybe Murrell has really lost a step. I think mostly it's that Murrell is a dancer waiting for holes to open up (they won't) and Pittman doesn't wait and is big enough to make his own.

BTW, anyone know why the Cardinals don't have a web page yet?

They can't string three W's together.

He was the Pitts<g>...Lions have an incredible ability to make such players look like heroes...

Bobby Ross is getting slammed by the local press for his calls.
