As far as health is concerned, I have seen much of the preliminary information related to wireless devices and "related" illnesses (my father is a surgeon, and receives quite a bit of info...keeps me infomed).
Almost all of it is inconclusive at this point, much along the lines that the "cancer clusters" around ELF electrical towers has been shown to be without merit. It is likely that ANY effects these devices can have would take place over many years of use, and certainly not over the time frames that current devices have been in use.

That said, there is some evidence that certain people are more prone to types of illnesses, and that environmental factors can play a role in initiating onset. There is no way, however, to screen for these likelihoods, and holding a cell phone manufacturer liable for someone developing a tumor in a situation like that is a bit of a stretch.

Any doctors who care to weigh in, I'm interested in opposing views. I'm not really interested in hearing from lawyers, as they tend to twist the truth to suit their needs.
