Tench,

If you go out to the Dell B Series link posted earlier, you can configure a system with up to the 733Mhz processor and either RDRAM-700 or RDRAM-800 (strangely, at the same prices).

Update to my previous post regarding Dell Rambus-based system for $1,900:

dell.com

I clicked on the "Configure & Buy" option, and I found the following:

- The 533 MHz Pentium III is indeed a Coppermine processor (i.e. 533EB)

- The only speed grade of RDRAM available is PC700. Going from 128 to 256 MB will cost an additional $568.

- The base price of the configurable system is $1,985, which is more than the list price of $1,899 for the system "on display."

- The system is expected to begin shipping on December 15th.
