One other thing I should add to the GP post. Since April 1998 GP has been a net seller of the stock every month expect Feb. 1999. It was in April 1998 that JDX first hinted that they were getting out of the resource sector at the AGM. These guys have been selling ever since which hints that they are just resource sector investors. In addition, they have been a constant seller of the stock during this whole period which likely means they are ignoring the fundamentals of the company and how they are developing...they just want out and don't care about the potential the company has.

Best Regards
KEITH

I agree with your thinking, and dollars to doughnuts (now *there's* something my grandmother would say :) some or all of the group behind the GP selling imho the BBL mutual fund I mentioned the other day - you already know the other two are likely out completely based on their statements. BBL is headquartered in Belgium and their funds are managed nominally through Luxembourg, they are according to Forbes one of the 30 largest banks in the world, and according to the site I posted on Friday, they hold jordex through two base metals funds, which would of course be removing it as scudder and midas have done because it no longer fits their mandate. I spent the morning looking for the volume of their holdings and have not been able to find such electronically available. I have been making attempts to get a printed listing of their holdings. With any luck news will be out before I get a chance to peruse this :)

Great post Keith. I saw a similar situation unfold earlier this year with Bridges Initiatives on the ASE. I believe Western was hammering the bid for weeks getting rid of some customers cheap shares. We lost some value but after the selling was over it ran real pretty.

The way JDX is holding up under the selling is comforting and I believe setting us up for an even better run when GP runs out.
