The books keep piling up around here as well. The last few weeks, I have been investigating alternative building materials and the origins of the classic California ranch house.

In free moments, traveled to see an insulated concrete form-built home and a straw bale house under construction. Interesting ideas but hideously expensive.

I have one word for you: bifocals. I have them, I finally caved in, after wearing contact lenses for 25 years, and needing "reading glasses" over my contact lenses. And now I am able to read again.
