Not only that... Apple raided Xerox Parc, it was just amazing... they pummelled the place! This would never happen today... I don't know the order of things but I think first they got Tesler and then Ludolph as lead software guy, then all his buddies, etc. I think they doubled their salaries or maybe even more. Of course Xerox didn't know what they had... but still I think today somebody would get sued over the personnel issues...

Last year do you remember when Informix tried to sue Larry over the odb team? White went after the engineers themselves... give me a break, hard to know what he was thinking... still he thought he had a case, imagine what Xerox could have claimed...
