It doesn't surprise you that I would defend the church? That I would not see the relevancy OF the church and the Piss Christ (I assume, or maybe the elephant excrement Madonna)? That I would not see the relevancy of MY being approving of censorship or censor or censure? Who can tell from your posts? Certainly not I. I said what I meant and I meant what I said- which WAS that CR was alluding to censure and was NOT being a censor. You were simply wrong in your word choice- in MY opinion. You can, of course, debate that Point of English language usage with me- but the Catholic church, my feelings about the church and provocative art are not relevant. You can also debate anything you want by yourself. But I am not going to mix it up with you over some amalgam of issues whose nexus I cannot even understand.
