The Options Clearing Corporation has not only opened the 35 series, they also opened 40s.

Some slightly unreal premiums for these confirm the demand for our hot hot stock that has suddenly appeared.

Here are some examples from a few minutes ago, with the stock at 32 5/8:

VQXAG (Jan 35 call): 4 1/4 bid, 4 1/2 asked.
VQXAH (Jan 40 call): 2 5/8 bid, 3 asked.
VQXDH (Apr 40 call): 5 3/4 bid, 6 asked.

These premiums are great for sellers. Anybody who is really nervous about the recent runup and thinking about bailing out might want to consider selling some of these instead. 5 3/4 downside protection is not too bad, except for the risk of losing long-term stock at 45 3/4 5 months from now.

Somebody say something recently about risk? <vbg>
