Hewlett-Packard's Vectra, Kayaks To Have Intel 820 Chip

PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Hewlett-Packard Co. (HWP) said its latest HP Vectra VL600 corporate PCs and HP Kayak XM600 PC Workstations will integrate Intel Corp.'s (INTC) Intel 820 chipset.

In a press release Monday, Hewlett-Packard said the HP Vectra VL600, scheduled to ship next month, starts at $1,399.

The HP Kayak XM600 is expected to retail starting at $1,380 when it ships in December.

HP Kayak XM600 workstations with Rambus memory technology are slated to begin shipping in January.
