William, in a mania, picking a stock solely based on the fact that it is up a point or two can work. It's called momentum investing, or "greater fool" investing.

It has nothing to with fundamentals. They are just stock symbols as far as youre concerned!

And you know what? When the market eventually turns around and plummets, you arent going to have a viable strategy anymore!

Don't confuse a mania, with intelligence.

Are you suggesting that he's already lost it? That's my theory. One can only bet the farm so many times before foreclosure. That would explain why he never talks about his trades anymore....
