I think that I have about 35 to 40 % core. Those are dribs of drabs of various stocks that I have had, mostly for several years.

Probably about 35 stocks all of which are small holdings and most represent the house's money. I learned that from you. When I sell, I take part of my profit in cash and leave the rest in stock. For example, I have small positions in EDFY, TBFC, CKFR, YHOO, VERT, RNWK, NTBK, etc. I just put them in a sock drawer and forget about them.

My own mini- mutual fund.

does it feel sort of liberating?

does for me. I'm about 80% or more cash. Cheap seats for the checkmonkey show are all but gone.

Like I was telling dave late last week, I got a p-p-p-p-pocket full of c-c-cashhhhh, just doing some popping in and out of few positions.

One thing I noticed since I really began lightening up last week, the beer tastes better.

dinner is ready. Think I'll drink a beer with dinner. BTW, outdoor frig is in full working order here, brrrrrrrrr!
