tim, i think a mix of day and position trading is good... i will only do day trades on the days when i can sit and watch... for days when i can't i like the more stable position trades... i am beginning to agree with you on takeovers... while i think there can be great long term returns... they can be frustrating on a short term basis... especially when so many sectors in the market are so hot right now... forgot to mention nite... was in and out earlier today and meant to get back in before the close, darn it... all of the broker/financial stocks seemed to do real well today... and should do well again tomorrow with the fomc...
