I honestly think that you underestimate the role of Chesterton among the laity, and persons with general intellectual interests. But I am considering dropping Chesterton, just because I cannot prove my surmise, based on societies and publications, and the informal role of Chesterton among students at St. John's in the late '70s, and if I cannot even get your support, I cannot establish any credibility on the matter.....
