VIXL hits the radar screen on the REDHERRING.....talking about FNSR.."n optical subsystems, Finisar's primary competition
comes from other newcomers to the public market. On
the one hand is Vixel (Nasdaq: VIXL), a provider of
remote control and diagnostics for Fibre Channel
switches. Vixel went public on October 1 at $18 per
share and is now trading at $35.25. On the other hand,
Agilent Technologies, a spin-off of Hewlett-Packard
(NYSE: HWP), is slated to launch its own IPO next..."

Vixel has been acting better with increased volume and is a lot cheaper than Finisar..a small float helps, too.
