Tuesday November 16 9:43 AM ET Oracle Sets Consulting Deals PALO ALTO, Calif. (Reuters) - Oracle Corp (Nasdaq:ORCL - news). said it entered alliances with 20 Internet business consultants offering an extended set of Internet marketing, strategy and project implementation services to corporate customers setting up electronic commerce sites. The alliances include pacts with Agency.Com, AnswerThink Consulting Group Inc., Bowne & Co. Inc.'s Bowne Internet unit, iXL Enterprises Inc., True North Communications Inc (NYSE:TNO - news).'s Modem Media unit, Nicholson NY, Sapient Corp (Nasdaq:SAPE - news)., US Interactive Inc (Nasdaq:USIT - news). and Viant Inc. . The announcements were made at Oracle's OpenWorld annual conference for customers and suppliers taking place in Los Angeles this week. Separately, Tibco Software (Nasdaq:TIBX - news) Inc. on Tuesday said it had expanded its existing ties with Oracle to use Tibco's real-time publishing technology in new Oracle database and customer management software. The expanded alliance includes a plan by Oracle to set up a computer consulting practice to design and install systems using Tibco's software products, linked to Oracle's AQ database front-office and back-office business computer systems. Tibco products also will be integrated into the Oracle Applications suite of products as an underlying technology. Tibco is a majority owned unit of international news and information company Reuters Group Plc (Nasdaq:RTRSY - news) . .

As I recollect, I recommended ANCR as well. And had you kept your 10,000 shares, how much would that be worth today? And they are predicting 180% growth for the Fibre Channel industry for the next 3-5 years. Heck, your old holdings in ANCR could have been MUCH more than mine in Microsoft. ;-)

That aside, I still think you have a great chance of passing me with TIBX. I have done full due diligence in this company and think they are in the right business at the right time with a great deal of long term potential. I am seriously considering selling some MSFT options in order to buy into this winner.

Robert, I think you should take your cousin Ed's financial/stock picking advice... the same advice that told you to SELL all your ANCR holdings last year and put it in PPOD. ROFLMAO. Have a nice day :-)
