More for your list:

MS Money or Intuit's Quicken?
TurboTax or ???

MSFT has tried and FAILED in some markets.

The Gov. did say no to buying Intuit where they tried to buy their competition.

I still use LViewPro rather than the free MS image stuff.

I just find it interesting the criminals that Janet Reno seems to prefer to prosecute. There are plenty of them running around... One gal was a futures trader, but liked health care so she escaped prosecution. Foster ate a bullet.... Another assaults women and gets away with it since he is sleeping with Loral and the Chinese too. Poor old billy gates just didn't know who's palm to grease.

The monopoly on the operating system software is the issue. MSFT's applications division enjoys a unique advantage over all of its rivals as a result. MSFT may have sabotaged superior rivals in the past, the Wordperfect case being the classic.
