the RBOCs who will appeal giving the cable-cos more time

I can't say I understand the gravity of this decision as much as I think I should, but I find it curious to ponder if the RBOCs really would appeal the judgment. Given the choice of a rock and the hard spot, I would think they would be better off siding with the DSL cos, considering an eventual buy-out. Am I way off here?

For Me..
The DSL's created a new category.
They are not even in the same category.
They are trying do distance themselves in perception.
From Cable.
To the masses...
They don't want to be like cable.
Cable is Cable.
They want to be like Mobile.
In a sense.
They want to be about options.
About flexibility.
Cable to me is "TV" ,,,in perception,,,
Tied to a *BOX*,
so to speak....
