there is nothing innovative to his calls...he is getting off the hook right now because of the excuse of keeping it basic.. where is the play action 5 yd pass to the tight end.. their offense calls are lame.... 1st- hand off up the middle 2nd - pitch out right.. 3 rd- pass.... people do not understand when you put marino in a third down and 9 he was so successful over his career that this is no longer considered special,just thought of as ordinary that we take it for granted...now the blitzes are changing and teams like the patriots on third down are sending the house.... you give me marino 1 st down- 7 yd slant in to martin,mcdouffie.. 2nd down-run 1st down- 4 yrd toss to pritchett..etc 2nd run.... ist down -draw... geez- was gary stevens really that bad????but that again i have not had a thread out of the backfield since kirby was traded by the ego coach..
