>>Bob- what do you think of WEBB these days? <<

Little late getting to SI today thus the slow response.

I have not changed my opinion that WEBB has a very tough hill to climb. I covered at 9 awhile ago and I am happy I did. I stopped following it for awhile but it has my interest again.

In reading the Quarterly Report (SEC form 10QSB)at

biz.yahoo.com

they have an interesting statement or two at the beginning.

>>The continued viability of the Company depends upon, in part, its ability to obtain additional profitable customer contracts and to obtain additional capital through debt or equity financing. The Company believes that its cash and cash equivalents and working capital as of September 30, 1999 will be adequate to sustain operations through February 2000. <<

Sounds to me that a "floorless convertible" may be around the corner or if not that some dilutive financing.

I am not techie but their entry into e-commerce using XML I feel is a good move. I will grant them that they have a good product BUT so don't a lot of other companies.

Their other focus is on small to mid size financial institutions. Seems to me that quite awhile ago they signed up a large number of credit unions via an association. Based on their q revenue it does not seem like they are achieving much in the way of incremental revenue. Trouble in River City??

Finally when I was short this stock, it ran to 17-18 or so and I was way underwater having sold at 12. I was patient and it came back. Is 17-18 a barrier that is tough to cross.

I think it is time for another ride but I need to alter other positions to do it. I try to keep my discipline and if only ZIXIT will drop like it should!

WEBB is not having a good day so far as it is now down a point on an up day.

What is your thoughts on ZONA. I have ridden this one twice and now at 6 1/2 it looks ripe again.
