Re: "Those are Intels benchmarks. Independent benchmarks say otherwise." Those were Intel's benchmarks posted on their website. Comparing them to AMD's benchmarks on AMD's website shows the 440BX based systems beating the Athlon based systems on many benchmarks. I can only conclude that if AMD had any confidence in other Athlon benchmarks they would have posted them on their own website. They chose not to. You see this as an endorsement of those other benchmarks? EP
