Amazing isn't it? And there isn't really anything so terrible about such a thing - if it helps achieve a goal of supporting legacy applications, and that's what endusers demand, it's an acceptable compromise. But why does Microsoft have to keep announcing that all traces of DOS and 16 bit code are gone, only to be embarrassed more than once when that turns out to not be the case?
