BancBoston Robertson Stephens analyst Susan Billat raised fiscal 1999 EPS estimates for APPLIED MATERIALS to $1.77 from $1.73 and fiscal 2000 to $3.00 from $2.85." "We are raising our estimates on Applied Materials, as we believe the company's momentum has been tracking ahead of expectations since late summer, with our expectations for fiscal 4Q 1999 performance and the company's intermediate term outlook rising as a result," Billat wrote in a research report.
