MMW, I do not believe that to be true. The 550 will still find plenty of uses in various customer networks and can also be groomed for use on the edge (where the 500 is heading now). Brian

MMV, you are exhibiting your ignorance vividly when you can not understand the diff. between GX 550 and Nexabit IP Router with full functionality. You and Cisco fans are in denial that LU is attacking the Cisco Core product the big fast and useless Router. It is normal to be in denial, but you will accept it when it shows in quarterly results in 2000. Get some knowledge before mixing things.
