You say you have no position in ANCR, but obviously you do have some sort of interest.

ANCR

As stated in my very first post to this board, I like ANCR. Also, and as important, I have learned a great deal about ANCR. ANCR traded at 25ish the day I first posted about it. What is it now? (62 and change - another record close today)

Knowledge is power. It is the basis of all intelligent decisions and comments. Below is a free assist in that regard.

Relative to that prior "marriage" (I was not a party): Loss of a major Sequent contract, subsequent cash flow reductions, and then issuing floorless convertibles to raise cash, dropped ANCR to 1 ish in late '98.

One final free assist: ANCR has quite a bunch of short interest lately. Greenberg of TheStreet.com is spewing almost daily to help drive the price down, soiling whatever reputation he possessed in the process. Underwriters and analyst firm MM's have shorts in their crosshairs. New analyst coverage, independent of the company, was initiated today. I expect a retest of 73 in a matter of days. Higher and higher lows is extremely significant. If contract win news is announced, you'll see 73 in the rearview mirror.

All IMO.

Joe
