Harry, re your brokers comments, there's a curious divergence in this Dow average stat compared to other averages in this group of charts. decisionpoint.com Look at the last couple of months of advance-decline volume for each average. The S&P needs a little upside or it looks like volume is not confirming. Jim PS, of course few of us are invested in an average, though our perceptions of every investment are persuaded a little by how they are running.
