FWIW, I'm selling half my position, or the FEB 30 calls ahead of FED meeting. I have a bad feeling about this and can't believe GS actions will support further Nasdaq upside at this point. Holding May 30's.

JVC to Use TeraLogic Silicon for HDTV Receivers in Japan
11/16/99 TeraLogic, a Silicon Valley developer of chip designs for HDTV, has announced that JVC will use TeraLogic?s TL855 HD decoder for deployment of HDTV decoders in Japan.

?TeraLogic offers the best solution to address the Japanese market?s high definition decoding demands,? said Toyoharu Honda, GM for JVC professional products. ?By working with TeraLogic, we will be able to quickly deliver an ARIB-compliant 4:2:2 decoder for HDTV applications that is capable of displaying excellent picture detail and color quality.? ARIB is a Japanese standard-setting body for RF-based products.

The TL855, part of TeraLogic?s Cougar DTV platform, is an MPEG-2 4:2:2 HD decoder targeting both professional and consumer markets. JVC is a member of TeraLogic?s Early Access Program, which gives select OEMs advanced access to TeraLogic?s technologies.

?With HDTV services via satellite slated to launch in Japan next year, these design wins position TeraLogic extremely well in the Japanese market,? says Jon Castor, president of TeraLogic.
