taxman, I have not hedged at all my MSFT holdings for I still plan on holding them for the long term and I just do not see the stock trading a lot lower from here.

I have simply moved MSFT to the back burner and focused my attentions elsewhere. There is too much going on in the market right now for me to worry about buying puts/selling calls on my MSFT holdings.

A couple of months ago I tried to get folks over here to look at GMST and some other ideas for passing the time by while MSFT languishes in this trading range, but most seemed uninterested in the concepts. It seems people are content arguing politics or the unfairness of MSFT's competitors in siding with the government, than focusing on MSFT's business moving forward. I am not selling any of my MSFT shares based on the current litigation, but I am not hedging either...there's simply to much going on elsewhere that requires attention than worrying about picking up a couple of points here and there on this stock.

Bottom line --- I feel no need to hedge because I don't think my MSFT shares are in danger of a material sell off...I never have.

Look forward to more dialogue with you, taxman. Take care.
