gc, I have about 50%. Several that I know have 100% (or more).

I have struggled with this question and it has been debated ad nauseum elsewhere. Bottom line--how much before you start losing sleep. It is an individual decision.

The guy I know with 100% has been in that position since early Spring. He is sleeping very well, when he is not dancing, that is. <g>

VERY SIMPLE!

Can you sleep at night.

Just buy all you can stand! I am going to mark down the last 24 hours of posts for future reference. Too many nice people got hurt the last two days and it is a shame!

Apreciate your posts!

All those formulas for diversification were developed by brokers to get investors to sell their winners to create commissions for them. Brokers are on the sell side of every transaction and they need sells to make a paycheck. I know people who hold just one stock at a time or maybe two. All your eggs in one basket is all right if you are watching the basket.

gc, I'm right there with ya at around 50%. I think it would make us both very happy if that number escalated to 90%, no?

50% is certainly not too much Qualcomm.

I'll bet that without buying another share, if you wait a while, by valuation alone Q will become 75% of your portfolio!
Let us know!
Freeus, trying to decide whether to buy another 50 shares at a more reasonable price to make up for yesterday's buy at apparently "too high" prices.

Mighty happy anyway, looking forward to our Q Christmas present.

I have found that diversification is very expensive. Let your winners run. See Q run! (A proud member of the 100% club)
