You should consider yourself fortunate that you live in a more rural part of the country. I feel that a good percentage of the metropolitan and inner-city areas are "powder kegs" that are just waiting for the chance to blow up. Most of us watched in morbid fascination at the rioting that took place in L.A. after the first jury exonerated the police officers involved with the Rodney King beating. We should use incidents such as that to offer some insight as to what the human animal is capable of when they are unhappy or discontent.

ND, when the kind of people that don't do any preparations, and depend on going to the store every day, and think only of their own wants, and needs, feel deprived, they tend to forget about the human race and it is every man for himself.

I would say it would be "dog eat dog" but out of respect for both of us, I won't.
