Not even. Handicap works based upon games played over the past 4 years. Everyone starts with a 30 handicap. Add 10 strokes if you haven't hit a round of golf in the past 6 months. Subtract 10 if you have. Add another 5 strokes if you haven't hit a round of golf in the past year. Subtract another 5 if you have. Do the same for each year prior for an additional 15 strokes if you haven't hit a round of golf for the past 4 years or subtract an additional 15 strokes if you've played at least once a year for the past 4 years. Results: If you haven't played in the past 4 years you have a handicap of 60. If you have played this year but haven't played in any of the three years prior you have a handicap of 30. If you have played every year for the past 4 years you have a ZERO handicap. hey... pretty good for a quick WAG. I like it. <ggg> OG
