You know what they call it on the floor-
MurDeR - Incorporated.
And that is what The Boss would call it too.

Given up all of today's gains. Not done yet.

Indio re: OSX 85 - due for a little pullback ? You bet your ass !

There are more than a couple of major institutional reports out there - saying rent - don't own the OSX yet. - keyword being "yet". They say earnings and near term expectations do not support anything over OSX 85. There WILL be some selling here.

85 is their sell target. Bank on profit taking - and soon; I've been selling strongly for 2 days now. But; I am rotating the fund into laggards and stock who look to be near more solid bottoms. I am staying near fully invested - if I am wrong; I still win - as the laggards will really be cheap and will back & fill and perhaps to a greater upside % move than the pricey high flyers here. Imho, I can not lose with this strategy.

I am not going to ride SII from $32 to $44 then back to $34 here again - sold, gone, cash in the drawer.

...and to all the MDR ankle biters on Yahoo - "your crow eatin days is comin on MDR" - bank on it; I am !

If you're a buy & holder; this isn't a doom & gloom post to dump and sell out completely; or anything at all that should get Post Patrol all hot & bothered. Simply my thinking on putting some profits in the bank off of a nice run and now perhaps a solid base on a new leg.

Simply for those who trade; too far - too fast; profit taking will run rampant; especially with these institutional reports and the DOW & NASDQ breaking out.

But; be smart - take profits in just say 1/2 positions and rotate the money into laggards; thus staying fully invested...

OEI at $8 here was my best rotation play; per my post monday on RRC - there's a time to buy & a time to sell these small caps; bought the collapse and sold today for a 14%+ quickie. I like NBL the best on any weakness in E&P's; OEI on dips sub $8 3/8ths. In service stocks I like IIR here - OII is still cheap, HOFF popped a bit today; still lots of cheapies... and how about that GLBL - did I tell you about the $6-$8 game ? it still continues... like printing money. Small cap E&P's should hold many of the bottoms here.

I think we get to buy most of them cheaper in a few days...

I am selling continually into this strength; and then I think we see a real spike to OSX 100 before year end - off of some major OPEC news, or some mind-blowing API drawdowns etc... but we need one more 10%ish shakeout; and a nice bottom holding at about 70-72 - then we turn & run imho...

Pigs get fat - Hogs get slaughtered.

There is a time to buy & sell the "stocks"and sometimes a time to buy & sell the "people" who trade the stocks... the selling/profit taking is coming; take some money off on the high flyers here... rotate - there are still plenty of cheapies.

Look how SCSWF HOFF and some of these laggards are getting nice one-two day pops when some value funds start scooping them up... laggards are enjoying their last cheap days here...

BHI could be one hell of a buy on the next pullback imho; I may own this one for the first time here if it does - for the first time in many moons...

I'd load PGO VTS NOI OII on the next retrace; and re-load on the mo-mo fav's like SII CAM WFT if the opps present themselves. Drillers all look fairly priced - to toppy here. ESV - all the next 2 qtrs of good news is fully priced imho; and the land drillers aint cheap... RIG will see $25 again from the SLB selling - bank on it; RIG calls will be the play then imho... but, on a pullback MRL & FLC are my 2 fav's - SDC may be undervalued and over-discounted due to its Intnl Exposure - could be a nice buy on this next retrace. I want NBR real bad too - about $23ish is seen.

PS - Anyone else getting some uneasy feelings on little old MEXP ? Private Mail me if you've got any negative thoughts on MEXP (VBG). Lets exchange some ideas...
