With respect to federal government contracts, this is one of the biggest sources of income for businesses in the world. People who run corporations that furnish the federal government with goods and services have a nick-name around here, "Beltway Bandits," and they are rich, rich, rich. You might want to think about getting onto the gravy train; a quick search on google.com turned up quite a few sites; here are a couple of freebie sites, first:

nais.nasa.gov

lib.umich.edu

This one is partially free, but it looks like you have to pay for the best stuff:

govcon.com

You might find this one especially useful, it's specifically about federal computer contractsz;

gcn.com

I have some experience in government contracts, so if you need to know something specific, just ask.
