My guess is that it will be a 1/4 rise for two reasons...

#1)The market would react badly if they do not raise rates
#2)They might want to go 1/2 but there are liquidity concerns re Y2K and so it will probably be 1/4

The problem is that the Fed might actually want to take some gas out of this market and if that is the case they might stay still. Everything is backwards...
