CLEVELAND--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 16, 1999--Stocko.com gives Nuevo Group Iusacell CEL , a strong buy
recommendation based on extremely bullish fundamentals, operating results and explosive sales growth as reported in the
3rd quarter of 99.

We have set a target price of 30.00 a share. Iusacell is 42% owned and managed by Bell Atlantic BEL . They have recently
completed updating their analog Cellular network to CDMA PCS. Their expanding footprint currently reaches 70% of the
Mexican population. With 9.3% Land line market penetration and 3.3% Wireless market penetration, PCS products are
poised for rapid market penetration. For the following reasons we feel the Iusacell is an extremely undervalued PCS wireless
telcom stock.

1. 59,000 digital contract PCS customers added in last quarter

showing 58% sequential growth

2. 488,000 Cellular subscribers added from the previous year showing

80% annual growth.

3. EBITDA positive numbers for the last 4 quarters.

4. EBITDA positive margins of 36%

5. EBITDA up 50% from the 3rd quarter of 1998

6. Bell Atlantic management and ownership

7. Compared to other PCS companies CEL is the most

undervalued PCS company in North America.

The usage survey was not that accurate, it was more a matter of
being in a clump of around 20-30 people while crossing the street
and noticing that 1 would be on the phone. The time of day was
varied, 9:00-23:00.

Your recommendation is much better, find a stationary location in
a crowded area and tally the people/users walking by. Finding the
number of phones hidden in pockets will be more difficult. Seems like
a similar situation with finding what station radios are tuned to
by monitoring IF leakage. There might be a similar RF signature from
cell phones, very weak for CDMA, naturally.

Here are the dimensions of the silvery Kyocera phone:

40x120x21 mm
73 g
150 minutes talk
150 hours standby

The Toshiba has ring signals of
My Heart will go on or
Mission Impossible or
Sesame Street or
sorry it is in Kanji.

Exciting chicken pot pie related news -- Swanson apparently now has frozen chicken pot pie that is topped with mashed potatoes (instead of pastry crust).

I know this because I saw a coupon in the newspaper for $1.00 off on a "potato topped" pot pie.

The one time I was in England, I thoroughly enjoyed ordering "Shepard's Pie" at various pubs.

I guess someone at Swanson Food decided to try it out in the U.S.

Jon.

Maurice,

Your worship of $ill and microsoft is nauseating.

>>Not yet satisfied, they attack Microsoft which has single handedly brought cheap communications and powerful computing to hundreds of millions of people and accelerated The New Paradigm immeasurably. Yes, immeasurably - I don't believe anyone has any idea how dramatic will be the effects<<

Let's look at all of Microsoft's innovations; graphical interface? communication software? word processor? spreadsheet? web browser?
Do you believe that microsoft products dominate in these areas because of innovation? What exactly has microsoft invented? Microsoft has leveraged the power of controlling the OS to dominate in application software. The closest microsoft has come to innovation is purchasing companies that have succeeded through innovation, somewhat more honorable than just stealing. I imagine that you think that the SEC should have minded their own business and let MS buy Intuit. I'm surprised $ill didn't just include "MS Money" in his OS to gain market share from Quicken.

Microsoft hasn't single handedly brought us anything. It's to bad the Qpooch is MIA. You definitely need your leg pissed on.

Pete

Single handedly, where do you come up with this POOP!

Excellent post, Mqurice.
LOL
I often feel like I dont know anything that is going on.
On the other hand, as a Libertarian with access to all kinds of libertarian news, I also feel noone knows what is going on and swallows much too easily what the news and tvnews media report.
On msft: personally I know that Windows was a big risk for Gates: he had everything riding on it: had it flopped he would have been in hock: but it didnt: Windows opened up computing to ordinary (or extraordinary) people who could not understand before.
As a teacher I can see that the public school give such blatantly pro government pro authority education that each successived generation will get more and more mindless and more and more accepting of being treated like a criminal and acting like a robot. A lot like 1984 (the book).(That's one reason I am so totally against public education, especially the current federalizing of it, although I work in the public schools because they pay the highest.)
Oh well, you said we could say anything on this thread!
I also wish Q would stop "correcting" and start back up: even though I have little margin and know that Q is long term, it makes me nervous.
There I said it.
Also did anything happen to make the market suddenly turn south? Or is it just the pre Thanksgiving blahs like Voltaire mentioned...to be followed (I hope) by the pre Christmas adrenaline rush.
