The Inca Trail was an incredible experience. My knees were really bothering me and the group members over 60 years old could out hike me. However, we all finished the hike - over 50 km in just over 3 days. The views were absolutely fantastic. I did take pictures but don't think they can ever do justice to reality. The porters and guide were wonderful. The porters strapped three backpacks together and could practically run up and down the trail. We would leave after breakfast, they would pack everything up and be waiting with lunch ahead of us.

I am glad I was able to go but it sure does feel good to be back home.
