I just want to guys to think about what you're saying before you jump to the conclusion that Intel can't achieve more than two million Coppermines this quarter. That is a pretty small number, especially since Coppermine was released in a huge number of varieties (desktop, mobile, high-end, speed grades, 100/133 MHz bus, etc.)

Anyway, if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say that Intel could reach five million Coppermines before Y2K. That number would make a lot of sense considering that even 5M wouldn't be enough to satisfy all the target market segments at once, hence the reports of Coppermine shortages.
